I am seeking a PUBLISHER interested in acquiring any of my books, and/or an AGENT to represent me as an author-illustrator

My mission is to create educational and entertaining illustrated books that empower children to realize their potential.

In the children’s book Harold and the Purple Crayon, Harold sets off alone and creates a wonderful world of his own. Inspired by this book, when I was just 6-years old I knew I would become an artist. Drawing became an outlet for my vivid imagination and refuge from a difficult home life.

After graduating with a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art, I worked as an illustrator, graphic designer, art director, and web developer. After 20 years working at a hectic pace in publishing and advertising, I returned to graduate school for my MFA from Marywood University. For the next 2-decades I was a professor, teaching graphic design and illustration at the University of Findlay.

During this time, my own artwork was put on pause, but there was a deep yearning to return to my roots as an artist. The overarching theme of my life is the desire to make a difference – to use the talents I was blessed with to help others. In 2024 I finally began pursuing my own dream of becoming a published children's book author and illustrator!
